The Data Model and Control teams support the stakeholders in Finance and Risk with the implementation of the current and future data structure. As Business Lead Data Model & Control you are responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Finance & Risk data structure (FRIM data catalogue and Finance & Risk data model), as well as responsible for the associated process & control tasks and control framework.
Your focus is on representing the interests of the bank, supervisors and other key stakeholders within the applicable processes and procedures, external legislation & regulations and internal policies in the field of (Finance & Risk) Data.
Next to your contextual tasks and responsibilities, you provide direct leadership to 5 to 10 employees (Product Owners and Business Developers) and indirect leadership to 20+ employees. In this role it is important that you can make decisions based on strategic banking interests without losing sight of the daily deliverables (day-to-day decision making).
The Data Domain Finance & Risk is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG) and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring Finance & Risk data management to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable data on time for internal decision making and external reporting. We do this by improving the Finance & Risk data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Data Department Finance & Risk consists of 5 clusters where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.
You are part of the Finance & Risk Data Domain Management Team. Together with the Data Department Finance & Risk you represent interests internally (MT, Finance/Risk, CIO, CDO, Detecting Financial Crime, DIAL (central data layer of the bank), Business MT’s, etc.) and externally (regulators).
You are experienced in leading a team and show great leadership skills. You have an interest and experience in Data Modelling (creating the Finance and Risk data structure and alignment with the data structure of the rest of the bank), Finance & Risk data definitions, Data Control Framework and Finance and Risk reporting, calculations (RWA, provisions) knowledge. You are a passionate, hard-working professional with an eye for detail. You are able to execute assignments independently as well as interact directly with stakeholders when it comes to day-to-day matters.
