Data Engineer
Flow Traders is looking for a Data Engineer to join our Operations Engineering team in the Amsterdam office. As a Data Engineer, you will establish insightful and actionable data products that will be used throughout the Operations, Risk, Trading and Finance departments with a focus on trade position and PnL reconciliation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner and loves solving problems with data.

What you will do
- Leverage the cloud data platform's self service ETL pipelines
- Integrate data sets with our hybrid infrastructure
- Build, manage and maintain ETL pipelines
- Work closely with Trading and Operations to establish new and insightful data products
- Work with software engineers to integrate data products into software solutions
What you need to succeed
- Professional Python software development experience
- Experience working with large data sets and enterprise data platforms
- Experience with streaming data processing
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems
- Experience with Cloud providers
