Your job
You write fixed income research with a particular focus on eurozone government bond and swap markets. In addition, you will analyse the behaviour of particular investors, in particular the pension fund sector, as well as ESG themes in your asset class. It’s your responsibility to translate your analysis into clear and thought-provoking views. You publish your views and opinions on a regular basis. Publications include, amongst others, regular commentary, thematic research, as well as forecasts and trade ideas. Your research is focused on clients, especially institutional investors, but you will also service a wide range of internal stakeholders. A large number of presentations and calls to clients is part of the job. You will be part of the Financial Markets Research team and you will corporate closely with our wider research group, including other investment strategists, central bank watchers, macroeconomists, sustainability researchers and data analysts.
Working environment
The Financial Markets Research team, which is part of Group Economics, is expanding its business. Our footprint is growing quickly within ABN AMRO as well as outside the bank. The fixed income coverage is focused on government bonds, swaps, covered bonds, financials, corporates, pension funds and ESG. The department also consists of macroeconomists, investment strategists, sustainability researchers and data analysts. We all work together to provide a comprehensive view of the world that the bank and its clients are facing. Working at ABN AMRO means becoming even better at what you do.
