Wholesale Europe & Africa is one of the regions within the Wholesale & Rural franchise across the globe with an extensive large corporate client portfolio. Within Wholesale Europe & Africa, the Portfolio & Data Analytics team facilitates the alignment of our portfolio with our regional strategy. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Cooperating with your fellow Portfolio & Data Analysts and our stakeholders, your main responsibilities as Portfolio & Data Analyst will be to:

• Perform regular and ad-hoc reporting for portfolio steering, risk management, and regulatory reporting;
• Process data (collect, check, and analyse data) and work on projects to improve data quality in our region;
• Align with different departments we work with to ensure we are aligned on data definitions;
• Manage our stakeholders on data quality and availability of various data topics such as portfolio credit risk, client income and returns, and sustainability; and
• Participate in the implementation of different projects.

With you as a Portfolio & Data Analyst, it's important that you recognise yourself in the requirements below:

• Academic level of thinking and working, for example a Master in Finance or Economics;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (in English), the person we are looking for can communicate clearly with various departments and levels of seniority in the organization;
• Experience with PowerBI
• Strong analytical skills, and ability to learn quickly to understand complex topics;
• Results-oriented, have a can-do mentality, and perseverance;
• Team player: you are able to work with others well to deliver value to our organization; and
• Have an affinity for market and regulatory factors affecting the lending portfolio.
