Product Manager GenAI - Conversational AI & CRM

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Product Manager GenAI to join our Conversational AI & CRM area, part of the Digital & Customer Interaction (DCI) tribe. This tribe is responsible for customer data, CRM, marketing, and all customer interactions.
In this role, you will lead the product development of the Rabo SmartAssist foundation, our internal GenAI assistants that support employees in customer interactions. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Genesys Cloud, Azure OpenAI, and our internally developed Knowledge Assistant (a RAG-based solution built on our knowledge base). You will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle: from vision and strategy to delivery and adoption. You will collaborate closely with solution architects, DevOps teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver impactful GenAI solutions that empower our employees and enhance customer experience.
Top responsibilities
- Define and manage the product vision and roadmap for GenAI solutions within Conversational AI & CRM.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable product initiatives and features.
- Align with business, IT, architecture, and external vendors to ensure value delivery.
- Prioritize backlog items and guide DevOps teams through execution.
- Monitor product performance and continuously improve based on feedback and data.
- Drive adoption and change management across the organization.
- Contribute to the development of Rabo SmartAssist and the Knowledge Assistant.
- Identify opportunities for new GenAI applications in customer interaction and CRM.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering teams, with a solid understanding of backend processes such as pipelines, APIs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.
- Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of designs and realized solutions.

You & your talent
- Academic working and thinking level;
- At least 5 years of experience as a product manager or similar role in IT/digital transformation;
- Experience with AI/GenAI technologies, preferably with platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Genesys Cloud;
- Hands-on experience or strong affinity with backend concepts such as data pipelines, APIs, and RAG-based systems;
- Familiarity with CRM processes and customer interaction in complex organizations;
- Comfortable working with DevOps teams and business stakeholders;
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Business-level proficiency in English;
- Proactive, results-driven and a true team player;
- For this vacancy it is important that you master the Dutch language, both orally and in writing.
This is what we offer you
- Gross monthly salary between €4,516 and €6,449 (scale 09)
- Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
- 10% Employee Benefit Budget
- EUR 1,400 development budget per year
- Hybrid working: balance between home and office work (possible for most roles)
- A pension, for which you can set the maximum amount of your personal contribution
