As a Data Analytics Specialist you create and improve the different BI reports. You support the organization in answering requests, by implementing new reports and optimize processes.
Department
The Portal & Digital Reporting Services team consists out of 9 members with expertise in data analytics, API development, data modeling and visualization. Coming up with smart solutions for our clients is the core activity of this team. The team works closely with other teams, such as the Virtual Competence Center (VCC), Investments, Sales, as well as Operations to provide both internal and external clients with the most relevant and necessary information regarding their specialty. Currently the team is looking for a new enthusiastic team member.
Position & Requirements
As a Data Analytics Specialist you create and improve the different BI reports. You support the organization in answering requests, by implementing new reports and optimize processes. You will have a central role in collecting the necessary input and you coordinate and monitor the BI processes. Next to strong communication skills you are flexible and are able to work with multiple systems and processes within an Asset Manager.

Monitoring all current live applications and ensuring its continuity.

Providing technical support for existing reports, dashboards and other tools.

Transforming data into meaningful and useful insights that will enable more effective insights and decision-making.

Assisting with both the development and maintenance of ongoing applications.

Facilitating effective communication with internal customers and stakeholders.

Supporting the implementation of new dashboards and data models.

Ensure a solid data governance structure.

Manage and inform different internal stakeholders and make sure projects are completed as planned.
Candidate profile

Professional & intellectual capacities at academic or higher professional education level in Economics, Finance or Information Management.

Experience in working with BI tools such as Qlik Sense and/or Power BI.

Affinity with Big Data, Analytics, Finance and Data Modelling.

Pro-active, creative thinker and a flexible team player.

Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented while remaining pragmatically minded.

Client-centered and result-driven with great time management skills.

A large interest in programming and BI tools.

Extensive knowledge of Excel and Excel VBA (experience with other similar programming languages is a plus).

Good understanding of financial instruments and asset management processes, as well as knowledge of the impact of macro-economic factors on portfolio management.

Ability to communicate effectively, constructively and professionally in either Dutch or English.
